Even if I have to get up super early, work late or dedicate my weekends to a project, I still prefer it to the "daily grind". I'm currently trying to set some long term goals (and develop a client-base), so one day I'll be able to freelance full-time. Maybe I'll stop by your office hours one of these days and say hello. His book, A Whole New Mind was so encouraging to someone like me.... very "right brained." Fascinating book. Also, have skimmed his book, Drive, which talks about the three basic elements to true motivation of people, vs the old stick or carrot methods... they are:1. Autonomy (YES!), 2. Mastery (YES, YES!), and 3. Purpose (OH YES, YES!). Makes so much sense to me... it's like he crawled into my head. good post on this though. Just agreeing that Pink is a valuable read.
