A few weeks ago, I wrote about the non-profit I’m involved with, Des Moines European Heritage Association. Our main goal is to produce a German-inspired Christmas Market in Des Moines in 2016.
A few board members and I decided to visit Christkindlmarket Chicago to see what type of market they put on since they have been doing this for over 30 years now. Every Christmas market throughout the world is unique in its own way. We had an idea of what we wanted to produce before this trip and we returned home knowing that our market will be fun, educational and a great addition to our community. We hope you’ll be involved – sponsor, vendor, volunteer, attendee – everybody is welcome!
