With their Grand Opening on December 27, 2014, Strudl Haus is the newest addition to Des Moines’ international culinary scene.
You may have seen owner Michael Leo’s homemade Austrian pastries and sausages at the Downtown Farmer’s Market. He’s now committed to a luxurious Euro-style spot on busy Indianola Road.
Located at 1951 Indianola Road, their menu includes breakfast, crepes and German-style sandwiches, all in a Viennese-style cafe atmosphere. Oh, and they also serve beer and wine!
Strudl Haus is also open to hosting large parties as Stammtisch – Des Moines German Club will be hosted there in January. Enjoy!
